The European Partnership for Democracy (EPD), the East Europe Foundation (EEF) and Promo-LEX have joined their efforts with the goal of bringing more European organizations and donors to Moldova to work with local partner organizations in strengthening the country’s democracy and share valuable experience gained from other European transitions to democracy. Therefore, the European Partnership Fair for Civil Society Organizations in Moldova will take place on 15 and 16 June 2010 in Chisinau.
The event will be attended by organizations from Moldova and European countries. The organizations will meet here with donors and propose projects and activities that would boost cooperation, coordination, and knowledge transfer between Civil Society Organizations from EU member states and from Moldova in democracy assistance with a particular focus on sharing their transition and European-integration experience. Topics discussed during the Fair: human rights, mass media and fundamental freedoms, social action, youth, better environment and European Integration. In order to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the Fair and to facilitate the further communication between the Fair participants, a new web page www.partnershipfair.eu will be created.
To develop a Partnership Fair web page that shall serve as a platform for European and Moldovan organizations to communicate, share their experience, promote their work and establish new partnerships.
